Wednesday Nights at the Druid’s KeepFor the uninitiated, Druid’s Keep may not seem or sound like a place to be spending a perfectly good Wednesday evening. But for those who have been patrons of the place since its opening a couple of years ago, the only destination of choice on midweek nights is Druid’s Keep. Collectors of comic books, action figures, statues and the like, all converge there every Wednesday night to catch the scheduled weekly delivery of the latest releases from Diamond Comics Distributors. Owned and operated by Felix Cua (wearing black tee in the photo below), Druid’s Keep has earned a golden reputation for being the best source of comic book collectibles and merchandise within Metro Manila.  Druid’s Keep owner Felix Cua (in black tee) w/ Carlo Pagulayan  Leinil Francis Yu Last Wednesday, Druid’s Keep was graced by the presence of 2 comic book artists Carlo Pagulayan and Leinil Francis Yu. Both have tackled projects for American comic book publishers including DC Comics, Marvel, Dark Horse and Wildstorm Productions. I highly recommend to everyone who has the slightest interest in comic book collectibles to pay Druid’s Keep a visit any day of the week (except Mondays). It’s been known to be habit forming – just take a look at the blissful faces of some of the regulars in the photo below.  Regular patrons of Druid’s Keep Druid’s Keep is located at the 3rd floor, Gateway Center in Magallanes. They are open everyday except Mondays and may be reached by telephone at (02)854-5332.
