Very recently, this picture of a 1/6 scale TDK Batman standing next to a Batmobile/Tumbler appeared on Toy World – a Hong Kong based toy forum. The scanned image actually came from an article that appeared in a Japanese toy and hobby magazine called Figure King. The 1/6 scale Batman figure you see is by Hot Toys, and so is the Tumbler.

Yes folks, Hot Toys is working on producing a 1/6 scale Tumbler. The information I was able to get from them is pretty much limited to it being made available only to the Hong Kong and Japan markets. Additionally, I was told that it has light-up functions. Beyond these, I have to wait just like everybody else for the official release of more information.

One thing is for sure – this is going to be a highly sought after item primarily because a 1/6 scale Tumbler has never been produced before. And I’m having a hard time figuring out how I can possibly import this. It’s simply mind boggling!
