After many years of hoping and wishing, the Philippines is now finally covered by Paypal’s services. Filipino web users have been waiting for this day to come. There used to be no convenient (read cheap) way to securely send payment to friends and family overseas. Now, Paypal makes that possible – literally as easy as just typing in a a few keystrokes. All it takes is a valid credit card which the user has to register with their Paypal account. After verification, the user can then fund his/her account by way of the credit card he/she registered with and electronically send the funds to anyone with a Paypal account anywhere in the world.

The only drawback about Paypal’s Philippines coverage is that members can only SEND money and NOT RECEIVE. But this should be good enough for now. At least items sold on eBay won’t have to be so darned difficult to pay for.
