It’s A ‘Nightmare’: Robert Englund to Attend Wizard World Portland, New Orleans Comic Cons

“Whatever you do, don’t fall asleep.”

That was good advice in the horror classic A Nightmare on Elm Street, and it’s even better for fans in Portland and New Orleans. Robert Englund, who played brutal, deranged killer “Freddie Kruger” in Nightmare and other adaptations, will attend Wizard World Portland Comic Con (Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 25-26) and New Orleans Comic Con (Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 8-9).

Englund has nearly 150 film and TV credits, starring opposite such luminaries as Henry Fonda, Susan Sarandon, Jeff Bridges, Sally Field and Arnold Schwarzenegger in his brilliant acting career.
