Well according to Toyguru over at mattycollector.com the full shipment of Demo-Man figures have finally arrived here in the states and being shipped out as you read this! Also, because of the inconvenience this caused both Mattel and the loyal He-Fans and She-Ravers that support the line major steps are being taken to insure this doesn’t happen again. Read Matty’s latest statement below:

He-Fans and She-Ravers,
First, Demo-Manâ„¢ has arrived in our warehouse and should start shipping out in the next few days. We will post a confirmation when he starts to ship.
But just when we thought we made it through the Demo-Man delay with clear skies ahead, it looks like our carefully planned release schedule has hit some turbulence.
When we lay out the line each year, we very consciously try to plan it so there are not too many items in one month to help spread out the purchase price over the year. When it comes to shipping items according to plan, MOTUC has had relatively clear skies for a few years. Unfortunately, logistical issues we could not avoid (yes, I know how you feel about that word!) have knocked our schedule around. We will still ship all of the figures we announced, they just may not be in the same month as originally intended.
We’ve looked at the full year and it looks like we will be back on track with figures starting in July. But between now and then, here is the revised shipping schedule for MOTUC and the 30th Anniversary Series:
January
Star Sistersâ„¢ – Club Eternia® multipack
February
Sorceress® – Club Eternia® figure
Fisto™ – Club Eternia® figure
Fearless Photogâ„¢ – MOTU 30th Anniversary Series figure
Shadow Weaver & Preternia™ Map* – shipping automatically to sub holders, not for sale
March
Kobra Kahnâ„¢ – Club Eternia® Figure
April
Thunder Punchâ„¢ He-Man® – Club Eternia® variant with mini-comic issue 1!
Draego-Manâ„¢ – MOTU 30th Anniversary Series figure
May
Stinkor® – Club Eternia® figure
Slush Headâ„¢ – Club Eternia® figure
Snake Mountain™ Stands – non-subscription item
June
Horde Prime – Club Eternia® figure
Snake Man-at-Arms® – Club Eternia® variant figure with mini-comic issue 2!
The Mighty Spectorâ„¢ – MOTU 30th Anniversary Series figure
July
Griffin – Club Eternia® beast
Monthly Club Eternia® Figure – to be revealed at NYTF!
MOTU 30th Anniversary Series Figure – to be revealed at NYTF!
Why a complete revamp of the schedule? We didn’t want to get into another situation like with Demo-Manâ„¢ and sell a figure before the full quotas arrived. While a few figures are shipping in different months then originally intended, this new release schedule should ensure there are fewer shipping delays like we had in December 2011.
Please keep in mind this new schedule is subject to change, just like the first one. MOTUC products are handmade and hand-painted overseas, so schedule changes are bound to happen. But don’t worry, because at the end of the year, you’ll ideally have all the figures we promised for 2012.
We do appreciate your patience and understanding. Our goal is to deliver the best figures and the best buying experience. Improvements will continue to be made and we will do our best to update everyone if any further changes are needed. There are a ton more surprises in store for the MOTU 30th Anniversary, with a reveal of two of the most fan-demanded figures ever at New York Toy Fair on February 12th! I can’t wait for our big collector night!

*We are open to moving the Club Eternia® exclusive Shadow Weaver figure to March to help international customers with shipping. Please let us know if this is preferred!

So as you can see this is quite different from the rollout announced previously in some ways makes it a bit easier on customers (The Star Sisters being the only January item for starters in music to my wallets ears). However, Mattel is clearly aware that this new rollout is not perfect for everyone, the note at the end about Shadow Weaver is VERY important for international fans to be aware of. While I want the figure as soon as possible, from what I understand any international package worth over 80 dollars (which that month would be) gets nailed really hard with Customs Fees by that I mean in the $60 dollar range!) and that’s something I wouldn’t want to see happen to anyone, figures are expensive enough! We’ll see what happens from here, but this month Club Eternia members should make some extra room because instead of a mystic and a shutterbug they’ll be getting three hotties from Etheria in January…not to mention the most vile version of The Evil Lord Of Destruction!

The Star Sisters are going up for sale or trade soon as they arrive here. Same goes for Demo-Man and Shadow Weaver.
I think I’ve gone as far as I can with the sub. Soon as the current one expires, I will continue to cherry pick what few characters from the early vintage line there are left for me to collect and call it a day.
I can understand that, there really are only a handful or so left that could easily be done with re-use parts that haven’t been announced so far : Clamp Champ, Jitsu, Ninjor, Mekaneck, Spikor, Flying Fists He-Man, Terror Claws Skeletor, Blade, Laser Power He-Man & MAYBE Dragstor, Rio Blast, Saurod, Laser Power Skeletor and Buzzsaw Hordak. Anyone I didn’t mention above would require a lot of new tooling which Mattel has stated previously we would get one or MAYBE two a year outside of Convention Exclusives. Still that’s 15 figures to Cherry Pick in the coming years right off the bat which isn’t too bad, but I feel for anyone who just wants to complete their Snake-Men faction. Say what you will about the 200X line, practically every figure was a new sculpt and though they were impossible to find they certainly cranked out a lot of major characters (including most of the Snake-Men) before the line died.
