Last night (December 22), AFHUB regulars gathered to dine and exchange war stories at the Saisaki Japanese restaurant in SM Megamall in Ortigas. In attendance were both long-time buddies from several years back when AFHUB wasn’t even in existence yet, as well as many new friends we’ve made via our toy forum.

Much of the evening was spent binging on all-you-can-eat Japanese buffet as well as exchanging geeky stories. There was even some live “Recent Hauls” discussion that went on.

It’s a wondrous sight to behold when you’re able to gather individuals from disparate fields into one venue and have them indulge in geeky bantering. In the group were business owners, marketing professionals, tech gurus, restaurateurs, mixed martial arts practitioners, and television personalities – all talking about Batman, GI Joe and other little plastic people.

Conspicuously absent from the gathering was Ronan (aka Phulboss) who figured in a car wreck the previous night (sorry you had to spend your evening with your grandma at home, Ronan).
